Siobhan Rowden lives in Hove. She studied English Literature and Communication Studies at university, and has worked in TV post production and for the Walt Disney Company.
Stardust Academy is her fourth book for children.
Her first books, The Curse of the Bogle's Beard and The Revenge of the Ballybogs were inspired by a short story she wrote when she was a Brownie.
When she's not making up stories about deadly pickles, magical cheeses and talented cats, she likes walking her dog, growing vegetables and eating cake - all at the same time.
